Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. Like many Web sites, we use “cookies” on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses YieldOrganic.com. Payment Information: YieldOrganic uses third the party payment processor, Newtek, to process payments for goods sold through the use of our Services. YieldOrganic will not collect, use or retain personal financial information. This information will be used by Newtek. 3.  What Does YieldOrganic.com Do With Your Personal Information?

We may use and retain the Personal Information we collect to: 

Understand, Provide and Improve Excellent Service For Our Customers. To enhance our customer service, we may collect personal information to understand, provide, and continuously improve YieldOrganic.com such as to: 

  • Provide access to and use of our Services
  • Improve and personalize our Services for each customer

  • Notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, or as otherwise necessary to provide you customer service
  • Contact you as necessary to enforce our User Agreement, applicable laws, and any agreement we may have with you
  • Personalize, measure, and improve our advertising based on your advertising customization preferences

Detect, Prevent, Mitigate and Investigate Fraudulent or Illegal Activities. We may use Personal Information to maintain a trusted and safer environment such as to:

  • Prevent, review, detect, mitigate, and investigate fraud, security breaches, potentially prohibited or illegal activities
  • Verify or authenticate information or identifications provided by you 

4. Data Retention and Erasure

We retain your Personal Information as long as it is necessary and relevant for our operations. In addition, we may retain personal information from closed accounts to comply with laws, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigation, enforce our User Agreement and take other actions permitted or required by applicable national laws. After it is no longer necessary for us to retain your Personal Information, we dispose of it in a secure manner according to our data retention and deletion policies.

We will not sell, exchange or transmit your Personal Information without your expressed written consent. 

5. Third-Party Services

This Privacy Notice addresses only the use and disclosure of Personal Information we collect from you. If you disclose your information to others, or if you are directed to a third party website, their privacy notices and practices will apply.

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

6. Your Rights

We take steps to ensure that the Personal Information we collect is accurate and up to date, and that you have the ability to access and make corrections to it. This includes the following:

  • You can see, review and change your personal information by signing in to your account. Please update your personal information immediately if it changes or is inaccurate.
  • Once you make a public posting, it will stay active until it is sold, fulfilled or removed by you. To make changes or update the public posting you will need to remove the posting and create a new one. 
  • Upon your request, we will close your account and remove your Personal Information from view as soon as reasonably possible, based on your account activity and in accordance with applicable laws.

To request access and to find out whether any fees may apply, if permitted by applicable national laws, please contact us following the instructions in the Contact Us section below. Where you have a statutory right to request access or request the modification or erasure of your Personal Information, we can still withhold that access or decline to modify or erase your personal information in some cases in accordance with applicable national laws, but will give you reasons if we do so. 


7. Sharing Between Members

We cannot guarantee the accuracy, privacy or security of your information once you provide it to a third party, and we encourage you to evaluate the privacy and security policies of your trading partner before entering into a transaction and choosing to share your information. This is true even where the third parties to whom you disclose personal information are bidders, buyers or sellers on our sites.

To facilitate the consummation of a purchase and sale transaction between parties, we may need to share certain information, including Personal Information such as your contact information, with other members, as follows:

  • Once an ad is sold or fulfilled and the Buyer has paid the applicable connection fee, certain information will be shared to the parties to the transaction, by e-mail, including the Buyer’s and Seller’s full name and contact information, in order for the parties to coordinate the pick-up, delivery and payment of the goods purchased.

YieldOrganic is not responsible for arranging the pick-up, delivery and payment for goods. The Buyer and Seller are solely responsible for coordinating the full purchase and sale transaction. 

8. General Terms

Amending the Privacy Notice

We may amend this Privacy Notice at any time by posting the amended terms on this site. As our business is continuously evolving, our Privacy Notice will change also. We may announce any material changes to this Privacy Notice through the YieldOrganic Message Center and/or via email, but you should check our Web site frequently to see recent changes. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Notice applies to all information that we have about you and your account. 

Are Minors Allowed to Use YieldOrganic.com?

The Services provided by YieldOrganic.com are not intended for children under the age of 18. 

If you are under 18, you may use YieldOrganic.com only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18 without the consent of the child’s parents or guardian.  

Fraudulent or Illegal Activities

We protect your information using technical and administrative security measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and alteration. Some of the safeguards we use are firewalls and data encryption, physical access controls to our data centers, and information access authorization controls.
